The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The support level developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it challenging to the office to attend read more to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all shoppers and enhance access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
